Summary
The Manager - Production Showsite will assist the Director to lead and direct all aspects of Freeman operational policies, objectives, and initiatives. You will be responsible for planning and carrying out objectives with considerable independence within corporate defined parameters.
This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of San Antonio, TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and manages specifications and delivery dates of all jobs.
  • Provides guidance to subordinate managers and supervisors including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.
  • Ensures that all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
  • Ensures that all work performed is done under company risk management and safe work standards.
  • Coordinates activities with all appropriate personnel to obtain optimum production and utilization of team.
  • Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
  • Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.
  • Manages team of exempt, non-exempt, and union personnel. Responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels are met for each job.
  • Determines responsibilities of assigned positions to accomplish business objectives.
  • Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; four (4) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ten (10) years of trade show experience in multiple areas of operations.
  • Five (5) years of managerial experience.
  • Well-developed leadership skills.
  • Strong inter-personal skills.
  • Significant experience in all aspects for Decorating, Production, and Operations.
  • In depth Trade Show 200 production experience.
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
  • The desire to work in a culture of continuous process improvement.
  • A record of achieving revenue and service goals within budget.
  • Success at leveraging technology, particularly the Labor Budgeting Tool and Time and Attendance Systemto optimize efficiencies and service delivery.
  • Successful at recruiting, developing, managing and retaining employees.
  • Ability to manage employees and effectively present information.
  • Ability to work productively with clients and general public.
