Job description

As Operating Success Manager at Sundo, you make sure our internal operations run smoothly. You are closely involved in production preparation, personalisation checks, device orders, customer onboarding, resource planning, ticket follow-up and day-to-day operational support.

Sundo is a dynamic startup based in Kortrijk, Belgium, that has been fighting skin cancer since 2020. Why? Because 1 in 5 people will develop some form of skin cancer before the age of 75. Our innovation? The world’s first smart sunscreen dispenser. Only a few summers later, our devices can be found at over 1.000 permanent locations across the Benelux, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and France. Our dispensers, and your future teammates, are also present at many major events such as Southside Festival, Tomorrowland, F1 GP in Austria and many more.

Who you are

You are the kind of person who brings structure when things get busy. You enjoy making sure that projects move forward, deadlines are respected and practical issues get solved before they become bigger problems.

As Operating Success Manager at Sundo, you make sure our internal operations run smoothly. You are closely involved in production preparation, personalisation checks, device orders, customer onboarding, resource planning, ticket follow-up and day-to-day operational support.

You do not need someone to tell you every next step. You see what needs to happen, you ask the right questions and you make sure the right people have the right information. When something goes wrong on a route, in production or during a customer project, you stay calm and help find a practical solution.

You feel comfortable giving direction to others. You do not need to be a formal manager to bring people together, set priorities and make sure everyone knows what is expected. Whether it is students, colleagues, freelancers or external partners, you are able to communicate clearly, follow up when needed and keep the team moving in the same direction.

What you'll do

Your role is broad and hands-on. You are one of the people who makes sure that promises made to customers can actually be delivered in practice.

  • Resource planning & Support: You help manage vehicles, materials, devices and people. You make sure the right resources are available at the right moment and support the planning of installations, maintenance and operational tasks. When colleagues, students or technicians face practical or technical issues on the road, you are one of their first points of contact. You help them think through the issue and coordinate the next step.
  • Device orders and production coordination: You process the graphical input received from the Customer Success Manager. You review files, check whether they are usable for production and approve them for the personalisation of our devices. If something is unclear or incorrect, you take action so production does not lose time. You coordinate the ordering process of our devices and make sure everything is handled correctly and on time for production. You keep an eye on deadlines, availability and practical dependencies.
  • Customer onboarding support: You create and maintain customer accounts in our dashboard. You make sure customer data, device information and project details are correctly set up, so customers and internal teams can work with the right information.
  • Process improvement: You look for recurring issues, bottlenecks and ways to make our internal operations more efficient. You help turn ad hoc problem-solving into clear processes.
  • You are structured and detail-oriented.
  • You enjoy coordinating operational processes and keeping an overview when several things happen at once.
  • You communicate clearly with colleagues, production, operations, customer success and external partners.
  • You are practical and solution-oriented. You focus on what needs to happen next.
  • You take responsibility and are comfortable making decisions when needed.
  • You stay calm when plans change or unexpected issues come up.
  • You like working in a fast-moving environment where not everything is fixed in advance.
  • You have a customer-focused mindset, even when your work is mostly internal.
What we offer
  • A full-time role based at our office in Kortrijk, combined with remote work options.
  • A lot of responsibility within a fast-growing company.
  • International customers and projects, with a focus on Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The opportunity to join us at some of the biggest events where Sundo is present, from major festivals to international sports events.

  • A young team where things move quickly.
  • The chance to help shape how Sundo organises customer projects abroad.
  • A mission with real social impact: helping prevent skin cancer by making prevention more accessible.
