Job description

About CALL-E

CALL-E is a phone calling infrastructure layer for developers and technical operators. We give platforms and applications the ability to make and manage real-world phone calls — so builders can add a voice layer on top of their existing tools without building one from scratch (e.g. a business operator integrating automated lead qualification calls into their CRM).

CALL-E is a new product line spun out of the AI company, AI Rudder (Series B, $50M raised from Tiger Global and Peak XV), headquartered in Singapore.

About the Role

CALL-E's first Developer Advocate — the primary bridge between our team and the developers, engineers, and technical founders building on our platform. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, community, and product: part evangelist, part educator, part community builder.

What You'll Do

  • Product demos: Film, produce, and post technically credible demos and walkthroughs that take a builder from zero to their first integration
  • Discord community management: Own and grow the CALL-E Discord — be the go-to person for integration questions, debugging, and community discussion
  • Community mapping: Identify and engage the developer and operator communities where our target builders spend time (Discord servers, Slack groups, RevOps forums, GitHub, local meet-ups)
  • Feedback loop: Surface friction points, feature requests, and community sentiment back to product and engineering
  • Speaking & events: Attend developer meet-ups, sales tech events, and conferences to represent CALL-E; speak to technical founders, RevOps engineers, and product teams building on CRMs and outbound tooling

Who You Are

  • Must Have Technical background; comfortable reading and writing code
  • Strong communicator across formats — blog posts, screen-share walkthroughs, live presentations
  • Hands-on experience in developer / builder communities (moderating, contributing, or building a following)
  • Proactive and self-directed; you form opinions, test them, and iterate
  • Work across time zones - you will report to a team based in the Singapore time zone; there must be overlap in working hours to attend meetings and ensure work is delivered on time

Nice to-Have

  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area
  • Experience organizing or participating in hackathons and developer meet-ups for AI or developer-focused products
  • Familiarity with voice AI, conversational AI, or the contact centre space

Why You'll Love This Role

  • Be the first Developer Advocate at a well-funded AI startup during its most critical growth window
  • Direct ownership over how CALL-E is understood, adopted, and championed in the developer community
  • Work directly with the co-founders and product team — your work will have a measurable impact on product-market fit
  • Build the playbook from scratch rather than inherit someone else's
  • Fully remote; enjoy the flexibility of working on a results-focused team
