Your contributions will be instrumental in achieving programmatic and logistics resource support to the Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM)Project Office, Logistics Directorate driving our mission of overall accountability in DOD Logistics. Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes basic contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.
  • Assists in the development of Technical Manuals (TMs), Supply Bulletins (SBs) and Storage Bulletins (SBs) for Foreign Military Sales (FMS). Use various software systems to review and ready documents for publication.
  • Assists in the preparation of documents for various countries' weapon systems, meeting the objectives of electronic publication. Prepare manuals for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) review in accordance with established regulations and PM guidance.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Configuration Management to ensure technical accuracy of publications. Utilize Fed Log to ensure all part numbers and National Stock Numbers (NSNs) are correct. Ensure all Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL) data is accurate and reflects the maintenance concept. Coordinate with other specialists to complete TMs on schedule.
  • Use Team Track and GEARS to coordinate and review documents. Technical Editor on publications.
  • Assists in providing recommendations on SOPs for Engineering Directorate and other Sections as directed.
  • Incumbent should be familiar with Design Reviews; Airworthiness Qualification Plans; preparation of Airworthiness Releases; Airworthiness revisions of Technical Manuals (TMs), Technical Bulletins (TBs), Modification Work Orders (MWOs), Depot Maintenance Work Requirements (DMWRs), Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs), and Engineering Change proposals (ECPs) processes. Provide Tech Pubs support as required.
  • Has knowledge of DOD, Agency, and/or industry standards and engineering requirements. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad Program/ Department/Section guidelines and policies.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in a related discipline that focuses on Supply Chain, Purchasing and/or Logistics or the related combination of education and experience that provides knowledge and exposure to the fundamental theories, principles and concepts within the specified discipline.
  • Requires 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Be able to obtain a secret security clearance
