Job description

CompQsoft is seeking a VTC Infrastructure Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at  Mark Center, Virginia for the WHS program.

Job Description:
A  VTC Infrastructure Engineer  configures, maintains, and troubleshoots enterprise audio-visual and video streaming infrastructure. They ensure high availability for virtual meetings, apply security compliance patches, and provide Tier II/III technical support for hardware like codecs, multipoint control units (MCUs), and UC managers.
 
Core Responsibilities
• System  Management: Deploy, patch, and monitor enterprise VTC and VoIP systems, ensuring seamless performance and uptime.
• Incident  Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve connectivity, audio, and video issues, minimizing downtime for daily operations.
• User Support & White-Glove Service: Assist VIPs and leadership with conference setups, active meeting monitoring, and equipment orientation.
• Security  & Compliance: Enforce organizational IA policies by performing vulnerability scans and applying cybersecurity compliance configurations (e.g., DISA STIGs). Risk Management Framework experience preferred.
• Infrastructure  & Upgrades: Manage hardware lifecycles, recommend technology refreshes, and maintain updated network and capability diagrams.
 
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on VTC or systems administration experience.
• Technical  Proficiency: Deep understanding of Cisco, Polycom, or similar AV/VTC codecs and infrastructure, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), and control tools like Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS).
• Security  Clearances: Requires Minimum Active DoD Secret clearance
• Certifications:  DoD 8570 compliance (such as CompTIA Security+ or CCNA)
