Job description

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our clients in Columbus, IN
C198526/198527/198528 Job Information: We're offering three classes for mom and two sons (11 and 13 years old)
  • Availability: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 4pm-8pm
  • Lesson Location: Columbus, IN 47203 (near Columbus endodontics on 3200 Middle Dr)
  • Preferred start date: ASAP
  • Lesson Frequency: 3x per week
  • Lesson Duration: 1h per each learner
  • Current target language level: Beginner (mom), Intermediate (sons)
  • Native and other spoken languages: Spanish
  • Student's language needs and goals: Daily communication, speak better and improve communication
  • Additional Information: Building vocabulary, listening comprehension tips and strategies, common phrases native speakers use every day, and conversations with native speakers.

Responsibilities:
  • Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
  • Developing curricula based on learners' proficiency level and desired outcomes
  • Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
  • Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:
  • To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
  • To have a degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field
  • To have a minimum of two years of ESL teaching experience
