Essential Duties and Responsibilities to which competency will be measured include the analyzes research data and proposed product specifications to determine feasibility of product proposals.
Develop Plans and Calculations
• Develops engineering plans, calculations, and estimates for assigned project elements in accordance with applicable industry standards and internal design practices.
• Creates drawings, models, and structural diagrams using CAD tools, submitting work for peer or supervisory review.
• Independently completes routine engineering analyses with guidance provided for complex or novel applications.
Manage Project Workflow
• Provides day-to-day support for assigned project tasks and sub-projects with minimal supervision.
• Tracks deliverables, schedules, and task progress; communicates status, risks, and issues to supervision.
• Serves as a technical liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing to support timely execution.
Provide Engineering and Manufacturing Support
• Demonstrates a working understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment capabilities, and production constraints.
• Supports design-for-manufacturability (DFM) considerations during project execution.
• Assists in resolving routine manufacturing or design issues using standard problem-solving methods.
Coordinate Cross-Functional Team Members
• Collaborates with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and other engineering team members.
• Ensures assigned tasks align with internal systems, workflows, documentation, and change-control processes.
• Escalates issues appropriately and provides clear, timely project communication.
Support Continuous Improvement
• Identifies opportunities to improve engineering processes, documentation, or project execution.
• Contributes ideas and feedback that enhance quality, efficiency, and standardization.

Education and/or Experience –
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• 2–5 years of related engineering experience, or equivalent combination of education, co-op, or internship experience.
Language Skills –

• Ability to prepare routine technical reports and documentation.
Mathematical & Reasoning Skills –
• Ability to apply algebra, geometry, and applied engineering mathematics.
• Ability to define problems, analyze data, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills –
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Working knowledge of project management tools.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
