A job at TSMC Arizona offers an opportunity to work at the most advanced semiconductor fab in the United States. TSMC Arizona's first fab will operate it's leading-edge semiconductor process technology (N4 process), starting production in the first half of 2025. The second fab will utilize its leading edge N3 and N2 process technology and be operational in 2028. The recently announced third fab will manufacture chips using 2nm or even more advanced process technology, with production starting by the end of the decade. America's leading technology companies are ready to rely on TSMC Arizona for the next generations of chips that will power the digital future.
TSMC Arizona's F21AQE is responsible for:
  • Providing quality guidance and drive global compliance to manufacturing quality standards,
  • Monitoring, analysis, applying lean six sigmastatistics process control methods to establish and sustain a robust manufacturing process control, and
  • Standardizing, and documenting control models and methodologies, and execute quality audit to ensure factory operation conform with international standard ISO9001 / IATF16949.

Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in change control and product quality improvement activities to ensure continuous improvement.
  2. Collect and record process changes to ensure adherence to Quality requirements.
  3. Analyze and present quality control data to the engineering team to support informed decision-making.
  4. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Statistical Process Controls (SPC) and generate reports.
  5. Support internal audits of wafer fabrication processes, equipment parameters, manufacturing operations, factory facilities, and incoming materials.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align factory operations with ISO9001/IATF16949 standards.
  7. Conduct and maintain documentation and paperwork relevant to day-to-day quality control activities.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Education:
  • Associate's degree in Engineering with an emphasis on Quality Control and Analysis or related field is required

Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Statistical Process Controls (SPC) and the ability to analyze quality-related data.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001/IATF16949 standards and their application in factory operations.

Interpersonal Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings and collaborate with teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom or advanced manufacturing environment if needed.
  • No additional physical requirements beyond common tasks such as extended walking, standing, or bending.

Training:
  • On-the-job training will be provided to ensure familiarity with company-specific processes, systems, and quality standards.
