Position : Informatica idmc Lead/Architect
Location : Milwaukee, WI (Onsite)
Term : W2/Full Time Role
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Informatica IDMC Lead / Architect with strong expertise in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) to design, develop, and lead enterprise-scale cloud data integration and data management solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with IICS/IDMC services, cloud platforms, data warehousing, and modern data architecture patterns.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of Informatica IDMC / IICS solutions for enterprise data integration initiatives.
  • Architect scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and related IDMC services.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and cloud teams to define integration and data management strategies.
  • Develop and optimize mappings, workflows, task flows, and reusable components in IDMC.
  • Implement data quality, data governance, metadata management, and master data management solutions using Informatica cloud services where applicable.
  • Design integrations with Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, Oracle, SQL Server, and other enterprise data platforms.
  • Ensure performance tuning, scalability, security, and operational best practices for cloud data pipelines.
  • Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and establish development standards.
  • Support migration of PowerCenter to IDMC/IICS and modernize legacy ETL solutions.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams for CI/CD automation, deployment, and monitoring.

Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC / IICS.
  • Expertise in Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Cloud Mass Ingestion (CMI), Application Integration (CAI), and Taskflows.
  • Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and migration to cloud-native IDMC solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Oracle, SQL Server, or other cloud data warehouses.
  • Good understanding of ETL/ELT architecture, performance tuning, and data pipeline optimization.
  • Experience with REST APIs, web services, and cloud-based integrations.
  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Informatica IDMC / IICS certification.
  • Experience with Data Governance, MDM, or Data Quality services in Informatica.
  • Exposure to Python or shell scripting for automation.
  • Experience working in banking, financial services, healthcare, insurance, or retail domains is a plus.

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
