Job Description

The Concessions Marketing Operation Intern at Capital One Arena is a marketing-focused role designed to support in-arena promotions, product visibility, and guest engagement strategies across a high-volume sports and entertainment environment.This position provides hands-on experience executing marketing initiatives while gaining exposure to front-of-house (FOH) operations, ensuring that promotions are effectively delivered at the point of sale and aligned with the overall guest experience

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $23.00 to $25.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

Marketing & Guest Engagment 

  • Support execution of in-arena marketing activations, including featured items, themed menus, and promotional campaigns
  • Assist in the development and upkeep of:
    • Digital menu boards
    • Point-of-sale signage and promotional materials
  • Monitor and analyze:
    • Product performance and sales trends
    • Guest feedback related to menu, pricing, and experience
  • Partner with leadership on:
    • New product launches and rollouts (sampling, placement, and promotion strategy)
    • Local vendor and brand activations
  • Conduct concourse and in-bowl observations to evaluate:
    • Menu visibility and clarity
    • Wayfinding and ease of navigation
    • Guest engagement opportunities
  • Assist in tracking the effectiveness of promotions and campaigns on:
    • Revenue growth (per cap)
    • Guest satisfaction
  • Support coordination of digital and social content (if applicable) to highlight:
    • Signature food & beverage offerings
    • Limited-time promotions and event-specific features

Operations Support

  • Provide on-the-ground support during events to ensure marketing initiatives are executed effectively at the stand level
  • Assist with FOH supervision in assigned areas, including: Operations, Culinary, & Warehouse Purchasing
  • Partner with stand managers to ensure:
  • Observe and report on operational opportunities that impact:
  • Reinforce standards related to:
  • Assist in post-event recaps
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:
    • Marketing, Sports Management, Hospitality, Business, or related field
  • Strong interest in sports marketing, live events, and fan engagement
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule
