Freelance Seismic Data Processing information

What is freelance seismic data processing?

Freelance seismic data processing involves working independently to analyze and interpret seismic data, often for oil and gas, environmental, or engineering projects. These professionals use specialized software to process raw seismic recordings, enhance data quality, and create images of subsurface structures. Freelancers typically collaborate with geophysicists, engineers, and clients on a project basis, offering flexibility and expertise without being tied to a single employer. This role requires strong technical skills, proficiency with industry-standard software, and the ability to deliver accurate results within deadlines.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a freelance seismic data processing specialist?

To thrive as a Freelance Seismic Data Processing specialist, you need a solid background in geophysics, mathematics, and data analysis, often supported by a relevant degree and experience in seismic interpretation. Proficiency with industry-standard software such as ProMAX, Petrel, or SeisSpace, and familiarity with data formats and processing workflows, is crucial. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication help you deliver accurate results and collaborate with clients. These competencies ensure high-quality seismic data analysis, which is essential for informed decision-making in exploration and production.

What are common challenges freelance seismic data processors face when working with multiple clients?

Freelance seismic data processors often juggle projects from various clients, each with unique data formats, processing standards, and deadlines. Managing differing client expectations and ensuring consistent quality across projects can be challenging, especially without the structured support of a larger company. Additionally, freelancers must stay updated on evolving software tools and workflows to remain competitive and deliver optimal results. Effective communication and strong organizational skills are essential to coordinate with geophysicists, data managers, and other stakeholders remotely.

Creative Production Manager

The Third Estimate

Solon, OH • On-site

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, PTO

Posted 5 days ago

Job description

The Third Estimate is a family-owned exterior home improvement company serving Northeast Ohio with roofing, windows, siding, gutters, and doors. We are expanding into several new markets over the next 12 months while continuing to grow the market we already own, and we are hiring a Creative Production Manager to build the creative engine that makes that possible.

This is not a role where you wait for direction and push pixels. You will own the entire creative pipeline: the brief, the calendar, the quality bar, and the results. You will build the process that lets us open a new market with a complete, localized creative package live on day one and the following weeks already queued behind it, then run that process market after market.

What you will do

  • Own creative intake, briefing, prioritization, and production across every active market
  • Art-direct our creative marketing specialist and manage freelance support during launches
  • Produce paid social and search creative, landing pages, print, direct mail, signage, video, and in-home sales material
  • Gate every asset through QA: phone numbers, offers, certifications, review credentials, and brand standards
  • Make sure every concept is built against a clear campaign objective, whether that is lead generation, brand awareness, or contact collection
  • Review creative performance weekly and make kill, scale, or refresh calls
  • Build the jobsite content pipeline that keeps our library full of real before and afters and customer stories

What we are looking for

  • 4+ years in performance-driven creative production
  • Experience directing another creative or managing freelancers on deadline
  • Range across digital and physical media. You are as comfortable with a Meta ad set as a yard sign
  • Adobe CC, Canva, WordPress/Elementor, and a project management tool
  • A portfolio that shows what the work was built to do and whether it worked
  • Home services, contracting, or high-ticket local services experience is a strong plus

What we offer

  • $75,000 base plus performance bonus
  • Health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k)
  • Real ownership of a function at a company that is actively growing
  • A leadership team that measures marketing and will give you the data to prove your work

Apply with your resume and portfolio. If your portfolio includes results, lead with those.
