Job description

  • Managing the implementation of the Marketing Claim Verification Program.
  • Provides overall leadership and support.
  • Acts as front-line contact on program related activities, issues, and risks.
  • Manages risks and issues and takes corrective measurements. 
  • Interfaces with C-Suite Executives, Business Unit Leaders and finance to develop ROI and other financial measures.
  • Manages stakeholders' communication.
  • Plans the overall program and monitors the progress and performs daily program management throughout the program life cycle.
  • Manages the programs financial performance.
  • Coordinates the projects and their interdependencies.
  • Manages and utilizes resources across projects.
  • May manage the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives and goals, providing feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

SKILLS

  • Ability to identify, develop, and commercialize new service offerings and business opportunities by partnering with sales, business development, marketing, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle of a program, from opportunity identification and solution development through launch, sustainment, and renewal.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including presenting recommendations and business cases to leadership, customers, and technical subject matter experts.
  • Ability to translate technical data, testing methodologies, and engineering concepts into customer-focused value propositions and market-facing solutions.
  • Strong program management, analytical, and business planning skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, priorities, deadlines, and customer commitments.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement, establish scalable processes, and support growth initiatives across multiple business units and market segments.
  • Sound business judgment with the ability to make independent decisions, resolve complex issues, and balance customer, commercial, and technical considerations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with commercial and technical teams to develop, implement, and govern customer-facing programs and services.

    EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Science, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced degree preferred, such as an MBA, MA in Project Management, or a master's degree in Engineering, Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional programs involving sales, marketing, engineering, operations, and customer-facing stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop, launch, and manage customer-facing service offerings, programs, or strategic business initiatives.
  • Experience driving collaboration between technical subject matter experts and commercial teams to deliver business results.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience presenting recommendations, business cases, and program updates to leadership and executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities, support business development efforts, and bring new solutions to market
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities while driving alignment among diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer-focused value propositions and commercial opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success working independently and exercising sound judgment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 USD and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 20% of the base salary. 

This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday and personal days (totaling 12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).

  • Lead the strategy, growth, and execution of the Marketing Claim Verification program, including development of new service offerings and market opportunities. 
  • Identify and develop verification opportunities by partnering with business leaders, sales teams, technical experts, and customers. 
  • Lead the development of claim language, verification methodologies, testing protocols, and program requirements to ensure consistency and quality across all programs.
  • Manage verification programs through the full lifecycle, including opportunity assessment, approval, evaluation, launch, renewal, and surveillance activities. 
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders throughout program execution. 
  • Present proposals and claims for governance review, ensuring technical substantiation and compliance with established verification processes. 
  • Support commercial growth through customer engagement, opportunity development, proposal preparation, and guidance on value propositions and claim positioning. 
  • Maintain program documentation, oversee issuance of verification deliverables, monitor program performance, and drive continuous process improvement.
