Job Description

The Supply Chain Business Analyst is a key contributor within the Supply Chain Center of Excellence, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced data analytics, reporting solutions, and analytical tools that enable effective supply chain decision-making across the organization. This role partners closely with Supply Chain leadership, site Supply Chain Managers, IT, Engineering, Finance, and PMO to deliver trusted, compliant, and actionable data solutions supporting procurement, planning, inventory management, supplier management, strategic sourcing, and materials management. The Supply Chain Business Analyst applies advanced data modeling and analytics capabilities together with strong knowledge of supply chain processes to identify opportunities, improve operational visibility, automate reporting, and develop solutions that enable more effective and efficient supply chain execution. This is a unique opportunity to first play a key role in our upcoming transition to IFS Cloud, reporting to the Project Leader, before transitioning Q2 2027 into the supply chain organization. The near-term role includes learning IFS/MRP capabilities, developing supply chain lobbies, and delivering work instructions to ensure a seamless transition and drive impactful change within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced data models, analytics, dashboards, and reporting solutions supporting supply chain processes and business decision-making.
  • Translate complex supply chain requirements into scalable data and analytical solutions to support procurement, planning, inventory, supplier management, logistics, and strategic sourcing.
  • Develop and automate Supply Chain KPI reporting, materials forecasts, inventory analysis, supplier performance analytics, cost analysis, and other operational reporting requirements.
  • Analyze complex supply chain data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and root causes and provide recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Develop cost, spend, component forecast, and supplier analytics to support strategic sourcing, procurement, planning, and supply chain strategy.
  • Support the Supply Chain organization in defining and standardizing data requirements, KPI definitions, reporting methodologies, and analytical practices.
  • Partner with IT and Supply Chain stakeholders on the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of IFS.
  • Provide training and support to end users to ensure effective adoption and utilization of analytical tools, dashboards, updated standard work and data models.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes, data visibility, automation, and analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Must be able to comply with U.S. export control regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  • 5+ years of experience in advanced data analytics, business analytics, supply chain analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced experience developing data models, analytical solutions, dashboards, and automated reporting.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including planning, procurement, inventory management, supplier management, materials flow, forecasting, and strategic sourcing.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and Power BI; experience with advanced data modeling, data transformation, and business intelligence tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to work with complex and disparate data sources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead analytical projects from requirements definition through implementation.

Required Experience

  • Experience in the aerospace, defense, space, or highly regulated manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with IFS, IFS Cloud, or other advanced ERP/MRP platforms.
