Salesforce is looking for a talented and dynamic Senior Manager to join the Innovation and Transformation team to support our team's strategy, growth, process excellence and innovation. This person will be responsible for providing operational excellence and support to the Sales Compensation ecosystem around systems, tools, and specific processes/policies. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Compensation, DET, and other Prospect-to-Cash counterparts to re-engineer and automate the systems that drive our company strategies. As a core driver in the Innovation team, you will design, build, and scale automated workflows to eliminate manual bottlenecks in the Sales Compensation process. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in the annual planning process, translating strategic executive vision into streamlined, tech-enabled execution.


As the ideal candidate, you are comfortable working at all levels of an organization and possess exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills. This role will require you to use both your strategic as well as tactical implementation and operational excellence skills. You will be a self-starter who can work cross functionally and build strong working relationships with internal organizations. You will need to have a thorough understanding of SAAS based compensation processes, systems (Salesforce, Spiff, etc.) in addition to the operational aspects of the Sales Compensation process.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead (or contribute to) project teams focusing on key compensation initiatives related to strategy, business process improvement and tool implementation or development.

  • Serves as the bridge/translator between the business team and technical resources during development and implementation to ensure that requirements and dependencies are well understood

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and execute opportunities to automate manual, repetitive, or error-prone processes across the team and seek to implement improvements related to internal and cross functional processes

  • Seek opportunities for process improvements through automation or integration of systems

  • Make compensation recommendations and resolve compensation issues using a data-driven approach

  • Guide and conduct user acceptance testing and training sessions for end users, as projects require

  • Detail-oriented, process-driven and possess the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Performs well under pressure and can work independently and as a part of a team.

  • Write comprehensive operational playbooks, process maps, and automated workflow diagrams to standardize newly engineered processes

  • Champion data and AI as tools that democratize insights and accelerate execution across the team

Required Skills/Experience:
  • +7 years of operational responsibilities related to SAAS large scale initiative as global team

  • +5 years of Business Analyst or equivalent technical experience

  • Consulting experience a plus

  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams across complex, cross-functional environments

  • Demonstrated success in driving projects forward successfully to completion

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully designing and implementing process improvements that reduced manual effort and improved accuracy

  • Strong desire to help others and intellectual curiosity about people and organization issue

  • Effective influencer, communication, and interpersonal skills; great listener

  • Strong presentation skillset - ability to create visually stunning executive summary documents and presentations that highlight team status & achievements, drive discussion, summarize project details and promote brand. Excels in PowerPoint Presentations.

  • Program Management capability

  • BA/BS degree is required
