Job description

Indotronix is seeking an :Principal RF Test and Power Engineer 2, Baltimore, MD

Work Shift: This is a 2nd and 3rd shift position.
Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related STEM
Active DoD Secret Clearance – Required to start

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement RF and digital test methods and equipment

  • Troubleshoot RF and digital hardware issues during testing and production

  • Analyze test data, identify trends, and drive improvements

  • Support First Time Through Test Yield (FTTTY) and delivery schedules

  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and program teams to resolve issues

  • Support technicians with troubleshooting and training

  • Monitor product yields and ensure program targets are met

  • Participate in program reviews and communicate technical findings

Required Qualifications (Engineer Level)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field with 2+ years of experience, or Master’s degree

  • Experience reading and interpreting schematics, specifications, and block diagrams

  • Experience with RF hardware and software

  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meter)

  • Active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship required

Required Qualifications (Principal Level)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience

  • Strong experience in RF testing, troubleshooting, and system-level analysis

  • Experience with RF hardware, software, and test equipment

  • Active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Engineering or related field

  • Experience with FPGA, LabWindows/CVI, C or C++

  • Experience with TestStand or automated test systems

  • Knowledge of RF theory, high-speed digital, and mixed-signal systems

  • Familiarity with LVDS, PXI/PXIe, and VME architectures

  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting of complex electrical systems
