Job description

Location: Springfield, VA (100% Onsite) Travel: Up to 20% (Domestic & International) Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship Required About Our Client Our client is an established defense technology company that designs and manufactures secure communications systems used by the U.S. military, federal agencies, and international defense customers. Their products support mission-critical voice and data communications in tactical, expeditionary, and fixed-site environments worldwide. Their engineering team develops secure LTE/5G, IP networking, radio, and communications technologies that are deployed in demanding operational environments where reliability is essential. If you enjoy solving technical problems, working with communications equipment, and seeing your work deployed in the field, this is an excellent opportunity. What You'll Do You'll become part of the engineering team responsible for validating communications products before they are delivered to customers. Typical responsibilities include: Configure and integrate secure communications systems Execute system integration and verification testing Test LTE, 5G, IP networking, and communications equipment Troubleshoot software, hardware, and networking issues Verify system performance against engineering requirements Document defects and work with development teams to resolve issues Support customer demonstrations and factory acceptance testing Assist with field installations and customer support as needed Travel domestically and internationally to support deployments and demonstrations (up to 20%) What We're Looking For We're interested in engineers who have experience in one or more of the following: Communications Systems Engineering Systems Integration Integration & Test (I&T) Telecommunications LTE / 5G Networks Tactical Communications Military Communications SATCOM RF Communications IP Networking Network Operations Field Engineering Experience with any of the following is a plus: Linux TCP/IP networking VoIP or SIP Wireshark Routing & Switching Radio systems Secure communications Test procedures and defect tracking Requirements U.S. Citizenship required Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance Ability to work onsite five days per week in Springfield, VA Willingness to travel within the U.S. and internationally (up to 20%)
