Job description

About Telestream
Telestream is a leading provider of digital media tools and software solutions for the broadcast, streaming, and media industries. We empower content creators and distributors to produce and deliver high-quality video content while optimizing operations and maximizing revenue. Our teams work diligently to innovate and support world-class services, and we are looking for a Salesforce Developer to join our Business Applications team.
Position Summary
The Salesforce Developer is an individual contributor role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining custom solutions across Telestream's CRM ecosystem. Working alongside the Salesforce Administrator and Business Applications Engineer, you will serve as the technical force behind the Salesforce platform, supporting Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ. You will write and enhance Apex when logic demands it, configure when it makes sense, and build collaboratively with the end user in mind.
This role lives at the core of platform architecture and business enablement, partnering closely with Sales, Support, Marketing, and Finance to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. You will also support Telestream's objectives to implement Revenue Cloud (RCA) and introduce AI agentic capabilities that reshape how teams engage with data and automation.
Location: US Remote
Work Authorization - Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This role is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization or visa sponsorship of any kind, now or in the future.
What You Will Do
Platform Development and Architecture
  • Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Architect and maintain integrations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ, ensuring data consistency and process alignment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Apex code issues, governor limit violations, integration failures, and platform bugs across the full org.
  • Perform data migrations, deduplication, and enrichment activities while maintaining strict data integrity standards.
  • Monitor org health, including security, performance, technical debt, and release readiness across sandbox and production environments.
  • Support release management activities, including change sets, package deployments, and post-deployment validation.

Revenue Cloud and AI Capabilities
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of Revenue Cloud (RCA), including product catalog, pricing engines, quotes, discount approval, renewal processes, and contract amendment logic.
  • Configure, maintain, and expand AI agentic capabilities within the Salesforce org, including Agentforce, Einstein features, and prompt templates to support intelligent automation across the organization.

Collaboration and Code Quality
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce development best practices, and maintain documentation to support long-term platform health.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Support, Marketing, and Finance to ensure Salesforce capabilities align with business priorities and operational workflows.

Requirements
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Four or more years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with demonstrated ability to write, debug, and optimize Apex code in a production environment.
  • Proven experience across multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud), including cross-cloud data flows and process alignment.
  • Salesforce CPQ expertise, including product and pricing rules, quote configuration, multi-dimensional quoting, and amendment and renewal handling.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or developing within Salesforce Revenue Cloud (RCA), including product catalog setup, transaction pricing, and revenue lifecycle management.
  • Practical experience configuring or extending AI agentic features within Salesforce, such as Agentforce, Einstein Copilot, or custom prompt template development.
  • Strong command of Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, REST and SOAP APIs, and Salesforce integration patterns (platform events, outbound messaging, and named credentials).
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required. Platform Developer II or Application Architect strongly preferred.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage concurrent workstreams across multiple stakeholder groups and deadlines.

Bonus Points For
  • Additional Salesforce certifications such as CPQ Specialist, Marketing Cloud Developer, or Revenue Cloud Consultant.
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps tooling such as Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset, or similar CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Workato or other enterprise integration platforms.
  • Experience in a SaaS or technology company with a complex, multi-product revenue model.
  • Background in the media, broadcast, or streaming technology industry.
  • Exposure to data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks for Salesforce data pipeline work.
