Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sr. Remedy Developer - Remote position with a Leading Pharmacy Benefit Manager located in MN. This is a 15+ month contract opportunity.
Compensation: $64.50 - $66.50 per hour, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Remedy Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing and implementing Remedy solutions that meet business needs. This role requires hands-on technical expertise to work within a contact center environment where Remedy has been utilized and heavily customized, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and a deep understanding of Remedy best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement Remedy applications
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and document requirements for new features and enhancements
  • Customize Remedy applications using scripting, workflows, and UI policies to meet specific business needs
  • Develop integrations between Remedy and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs, scripts, and middleware
  • Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet the quality standards
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for Remedy solutions, including design specs, workflows, and data models
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues within the Remedy platform
  • Stay current with Remedy updates, new features, and best practices

Primary Requirements:

  • Extensive experience writing custom Remedy workflows using Activelink, filters and forms (4+ years)
  • Experience reading and understanding Remedy logs to troubleshoot production issues
  • Strong experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL; able to understand, write, and optimize complex SQL queries
  • Experience writing PL/SQL stored procedures and functions and understanding Explain plan results
  • Experience working with Linux and writing shell scripts
  • Experienced in Python scripting
  • Strong knowledge of Remedy development including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Web Services
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies related to Remedy development
  • Familiarity with Remedy upgrade process and the ability to handle post-upgrade issues
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Tomcat server setups (reviewing logs, updating configuration files)
  • Experience upgrading servers with new BMC patches
  • Experience working with Remedy REST APIs, Jetty Server
  • Experience working with Remedy SOAP APIs and mid tiers
  • Experience in customizations outside of ITSM
  • Experience upgrading Remedy 20.x to Helix on-prem
