Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Authority: Acts as the Accountable/Responsible party for Terraform/IaC development, review, and pipeline execution for all cloud constructs.
Security & Compliance: Implements cloud Firewall rules, IAM policies, and VPC Service Controls to ensure workloads meet project requirements..
Workload Orchestration: Manages the full lifecycle of VMs, GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) clusters, and Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) at the edge.
Cloud Routing Logic: Responsible for Policy-Based Routing (PBR) logic and internal appliance routing within the cloud project environment.
Systems Design: Produces detailed design specifications and uses modeling techniques (such as Open Policy Agent or custom IaC scanning) to build system components following agreed architectures and design standards.
Incident & Performance Management: Investigates escalated, non-routine, and high-impact incidents, seeking resolution and ensuring proper documentation, root cause analysis, and closure.
Education/Experience Qualifications
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Four (4) years of related experience is required; six (6) or more years of related experience is preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

  • Core Technical Stack: Proficient in Linux, Terraform, GKE, and Google Distributed Cloud (GDC).
  • Automation & Tooling: Expert-level use of scripting and automation tools including Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Network Software Mindset: Understanding of cloud-native networking constructs like VPC peering, Shared VPCs, and Policy-Based Routing (PBR).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and drive complex projects in an enterprise environment.
  • Communication: Ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical team members, including providing detailed documentation and presentations to stakeholders.
