Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Storage Engineer for a contract position in Detroit, MI. The role involves managing storage solutions, disaster recovery planning, and utilizing various storage technologies such as NetApp and EMC systems.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Analytical skills and creative thinking
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and design
• Experience with NetApp, IBM V7000 and EMC VNX
• Knowledge of Cisco MDS switches as well as NX-OS and SAN networking fundamentals
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Python or a similar scripting language
• Primary skills include hands-on experience using the following technologies: NetApp AFF/FAS Series Arrays, IBM SVC, V7000, EMC Isilon, FS900; EMC VNX, EMC ECS
• Secondary skills include hands-on experience using any of the following technologies: SAN and NAS hardware and protocols, Violin Memory Array, AVAMAR tapeless backup, VMware ESXi 6.x, NVME, AWS
