What does a freelance motion graphics designer do?

Freelance motion graphics designers create animation for a video project on a short- or long-term contract basis.. In this context, a video project is any moving, vision-based material displayed on a screen, such as visual effects in movies, video games, television shows, or websites. You may work on the overall design, focus on a particular part of the animation, or be hired after a draft has been completed to edit and modify the video. Freelance motion graphics designers often specialize in specific software suites. For example, those who work for filmmakers may need to utilize Adobe After Effects or Cinema 4D. Freelance motion graphics artists may also provide creative input, suggest animation techniques, and collaborate with other graphic designers for each project.
