Job description

Company Description
Tasked with tackling a labyrinth of payers and organized customers, with limited resources, payer marketers can sometimes feel trapped between a rock and-well...you know.
Which is why our clients need an agency that knows how to rock in a hard space. Since day one, Payer Sciences has approached managed markets from a different angle. We firmly believe the truth lies in the data. We relentlessly analyze what formulary decision-makers and prescribers actually do, revealing patterns and practices that impact stakeholders across the treatment journey, and drive bottom-line results.
This disciplined approach requires an investment in sharp minds and multiple perspectives. To that end, Payer Sciences has assembled a flat and flexible organization, with analytics, consulting and communications living together under one roof-as one fully aligned team-so that we're always ready to rock. No matter how hard the space.
Payer Sciences is part of Publicis Health North America, and a subsidiary of the Publicis Group (OTCQX: PUBGY).
Overview
As an SVP on our Consulting and Client Engagement Team, you will be responsible for both business development and managing client relationships. You'll have access to the full arsenal of Payer Sciences' capabilities, collaborating with internal Subject Matter Experts to craft solutions that drive success for our clients.
This is a player/coach role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and enjoys both strategic leadership and hands-on project execution.
Responsibilities
Business Development (~60% of time):
  • Identify and build relationships with new clients or new brands within existing clients.
  • Develop strategic approaches and solutions in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Deliver compelling presentations showcasing our value proposition.
  • Generate proposals that clearly outline our recommended solutions and deliverables.

Client Management and Project Leadership (~40& of time):
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for market access and payer marketing clients.
  • Guide cross-functional project teams, including client engagement (e.g. account services and project management), analytics, editorial, art, and creative partners.
  • Advise clients on managed market challenges and payer landscape strategies.
  • Lead idea generation and content strategy aligned with client business goals.
  • Organize complex information into clear, actionable insights and presentations.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of pharmaceutical marketing regulations and access issues.
  • Contribute to a wide range of projects, including strategy development, market research, data analysis and communications planning.

Qualifications
Skills and Competencies
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Clear, concise communication (written and verbal)
  • Strong presentation development and delivery skills
  • Trusted client advisor and relationship builder
  • Ability to mentor and lead internal teams effectively
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and collaborative

Qualifications
  • 20+ years of professional experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
  • 15+ years of market access expertise
  • Management consulting, marketing, and/or strategy experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's, PharmD, or other advanced degree preferred
  • Professional maturity, integrity, and a positive attitude
