BASIC PURPOSE:

The Senior Copywriter plays a key role in developing compelling consumer and trade copy that meets the highest creative standards. This position is responsible for crafting innovative concepts across various media, including print, collateral, digital, web, and social platforms. Working both independently and in collaboration with designers, the Senior Copywriter ensures that all marketing messages are effectively communicated while maintaining the company's brand tone and voice. Additionally, this role oversees copy requests to external freelancers as needed, ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.Responsible for coordinating the daily resourcing and workflow of in-house marketing projects from inception through completion for the internal creative services team. for the managing of in-house marketing projects from inception through completion. Works closely with management to guide resource management and workflow needs for the entire creative team. Coordinate daily workflow to ensure timely delivery to multiple business owners across all levels of the organization.

POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES:
Develop compelling, on-brand copy for all marketing and product initiatives, collaborating closely with designers and marketing team to create innovative concepts.

Craft consumer and trade copy across various channels, including brochures, digital assets, and social media, ensuring messaging is engaging and delivers on brand voice.

Maintain a consistent brand voice across all content, incorporating feedback from internal stakeholders.

Stay informed on company products (ships, ports, destinations) and industry trends to align copy with marketing objectives and sales goals.

Develop and maintain a copy content library for ease of use, and to share content quickly with marketing team members globally, thus reducing repetitive tasks and streamlining workflow.

Participate in marketing meetings to gather project insights and contribute to strategy discussions.

Manage multiple projects efficiently while consistently meeting deadlines, including managing employed and contracted copywriters, ensuring all content aligns with brand voice, meets quality standards, and is delivered
on time.

Collaborate on content strategy, developing and testing new brand assets and messaging to enhance brand awareness, drive responses, and increase bookings.

Oversee brand content for major print pieces and promotional campaigns, includingVoyages to Explore, Voyage Collection Debut,andEXPLORE Magazine and blog

Collaborate with other teams to help ensure any consumer facing copy is brand voice approved and meets business objectives.

Implement a streamlined workflow for copy projects, from concept development to final creative submission.

Foster collaboration and teamwork with creatives, marketing team members, and business stakeholders.

Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

Work w/ leadership to Manage coordinate project workflow, prioritizing and managing resources, and resourcing for a team of creatives and external freelance partners.

Shift and balance priorities based on the overall volume of work as necessary.

Manage Coordinate day-to-day servicing of The Creative Group's project management application, Workfront.

Work with leadership to expand Workfront templates and capabilities as necessary. Attend weekly enhancement meetings with Workfront development team.

Work closely with leadership to plan and manage resourcing for the Global Creative team. Coordinate and attend quarterly check-ins with channel owners to discuss processes and constantly make updates to ensure process efficiency.

Work with leadership to develop, maintain, communicate, and train internal teams and external resources/teams on brand standards as well as the team's official project management system.

Arbitrate communication issues between creative team members and the strategic account team.


Review and ensure all briefs align to marketing and business priorities and goals and that all briefs contain the necessary project details including the project's purpose, goals, requirements, messaging, demographics, and other key information.
Coordinate planning and execution of yearly Creative Group annual Survey.

Confer w/ leadership to select and submit Manage all creative marketing award submissions assets for The Creative Group.

Ensure compliance within team on instituted procedures.
Level up to leadership any briefs or issues that need more focused attention.

Ensure Traffic is represented (or briefed into) in all project kickoff meetings to ensure alignment.

Develop new team member onboarding schedule and manage all Creative Group Service Now Requests for departmental equipment, software, and server access needs.

Work on ad hoc projects (i.e., executive requests) and participate in creative and project brainstorming.

Manage procedural alignment across regions (as needed).

Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or relevant, equivalent experience. PMP certification or training a plus

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 4 years of prior experience in project management or , production administration or budget management within a
creative / production / marketing / advertising environment.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Experience in handling issues around supervision, resource management, technology and workflow processes. Understanding of design, copy, and video editing within a travel business, and digital creative deliverables. Proven track record of facilitating best in class creative. Communicating and building strong connections with executive leadership.
Interpersonal skills and excellent communications skills, written and oral required. Must be able to present and communicate effectively with business owners and upper levels of management. Must have ability to manage change. Highly detail oriented and organized. Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent organizational and time management skills in order to prioritize deadlines. Strong leadership and management skills. Individual must possess a high level of initiative and be a self-starter. Excellent multi-tasking, creative problem-solving skills and sound decision making. Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team toward a common goal. Perform well under pressure assume responsibility and ownership of work.
