Highly skilled Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Shell scripting, Linux system administration, Kickstart, Cobbler, VMware, and multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of engineers while managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in a team of cloud infrastructure engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Automate system administration tasks using Shell scripting to enhance efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
  • Manage and optimize Linux systems administration, including provisioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and security hardening.
  • Configure and deploy servers using Kickstart and Cobbler for automated installations.
  • Maintain and enhance virtualization environments with VMware, ensuring performance optimization and fault tolerance.
  • Implement best practices for cloud security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and networking teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering and Linux system administration.
  • Proficiency in Shell scripting for automation and system administration tasks.
  • Expertise in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) including security, networking, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with Kickstart and Cobbler for Linux provisioning and deployment.
  • Deep understanding and expertise in VMware virtualization technologies.
  • Proven experience working with AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including services like EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Load Balancers, and Monitoring tools.
