Description
The Graphic Designer creates clear, compelling, and brand-aligned visual content for Mercy Culture Church and its Housed Visions. This position supports weekend services, campaigns, events, social media, print materials, apparel, and other creative projects.
Responsibilities
  • Design print and digital materials for a wide range of brands and campaigns.
  • Create and develop design solutions under the direction of the Art Director, Design Lead, and creative leadership.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail, typography, composition, accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • Manage multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager, Art Director, and other creative team members.
  • Communicate proactively about project status, questions, needs, and potential delays.
  • Organize and prepare final files for print, digital use, and team handoff.
  • Receive and apply feedback with professionalism, humility and a commitment to excellence.
  • Bring fresh, thoughtful ideas that strengthen the quality and effectiveness of the team's creative work.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Two years of professional graphic design experience; internships, freelance work, and strong student work may qualify.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals and creative potential.
  • Working proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Foundational understanding of typography, composition, hierarchy, and layout.
  • Ability to follow creative direction and work within established brand standards.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and time management.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to receive feedback, continue learning, and grow as a designer.
  • Dependable, collaborative, flexible, and proactive.

Experience in photography, web design, illustration, or video is a plus but is not required.
Membership Requirements
Must be a member of Mercy Culture Church or willing to become a member upon hire.
Leadership Standards
Mercy Culture Church Leaders & Staff must be in agreement with and abiding by the Leadership Standards of Mercy Culture Church.
Hours
This is a full-time, onsite position requiring 40 hours per week. The regular work schedule is Tuesday through Friday and Sunday. Remote work is not available for this position.
Employees may occasionally be required to work an adjusted schedule to support services, events, deadlines, and other operational needs.
