Description

SAIC is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented FS Java Developer Junior to begin an exciting and challenging career with our large Enterprise Application Support Program on one of our project delivery teams.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Micro Service Architecture JEE software applications.
  • Full stack development building highly scalable web and batch application.
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies and ceremonies.
  • Develop Front end applications will include JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, etc.
  • Develop Back end applications will include Java frameworks like Spring Boot, Core Java, JDBC, SQL, RESTful APIs, Microservices etc.
  • Use modern software engineering tools including Eclipse, Rational Application Developer (RAD), and Atlassian Suites for the design, development, and testing of software.
Qualifications

Required:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or relevant discipline (4 years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree).
  • 0-2+ years of experience in software development with Java.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a MBI clearance requiring U.S. Citizenship.
  • Experience with formal system development methodologies including Agile.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with business process modeling.
  • Experience eliciting and documenting software requirements in the form of use cases and user stories
  • Experience in business analysis activities including:
    • Software requirements management and analysis.
    • Software requirements elicitation.
    • Software solutions analysis.
    • Software requirements planning.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired:
  • Membership in International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) or related professional organization a plus.
  • Active IRS MBI Clearance is highly desirable.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
