Job Summary:
Infinite Computer Solutions is seeking a Technical Lead to provide design and delivery of a portal web application within the agile development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer responsible for leading development teams, designing Java-based applications, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet business requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Design and architect Java-based applications and solutions to meet business requirements
• Lead and mentor development teams in best practices and architectural guidelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and propose technical solutions
• Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code in Java
• Identify technical debt and propose strategies for refactoring and optimization
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and incorporate them into architectural designs
• Participate in design discussions about the technical implementation and consider the tradeoffs to support business value, scalability and delivery timeline.
• Develop web UI pages using JavaScript based frameworks, e.g., Angular, REACT, Nuxeo etc
• Work with the services team to integrate with service REST APIs, JSON etc.
• Develop back-end components and services to improve responsiveness and overall performance
• Write effective, scalable code
• Integration with Client Facing Application and UpStream AP
• Develop unit tests with a test driven mindset
• Debug and address performance issues
• Design and code for security considerations, anticipates security risks
• Peer / code reviews
• Lead the development of a product feature
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree
• At least 5 years of experience developing a web application
• Experience in working with distributed teams
• At least 3 years of experience working with agile scrum methodologies
• At least 4+ years of Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, REACT etc.
• Proven 4+ years of experience as a Java Developer including backend and middle tier development based on Microservices Patterns
• Proficient in the following technologies/Languages: Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, SQL, API Integration (REST, SOAP), JSON and XML
• Good understanding of enterprise solutions including storage and software layers
• Hands on Experience with implementation of Cross Cutting Concern including Caching, Logging and Tracing
• Working Knowledge and Understanding of Microservices architecture
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes and Kubeflow
• Understanding of database like SQL (Oracle, MS-SQL) and non-SQL (Mongo) is must
• Proven internal/external written and verbal communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize issues in a complex environment
• Strong exposure to Application integration with AI ML, DB such as Mongo DB and Cloud exposure (AWS and GDS)
• Experience and Expertise in building and leading technical teams
• Strong Communication
• Hands on, willing to do R&D and eye for details
• Experience with agile tools such as Atlassian JIRA, Rally, TFS or Version One
• Mastery of code repositories such as subversion / git and artifactory repos
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with web server, e.g., nginx, Tomcat is a plus
Preferred:
• Understanding of Machine Learning and AI techniques is a plus
• Understanding of Cloud Technologies and solutions - GCP Preferred is a plus
• Enterprise Architecture exposure
