AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Nature of Work:

Teach and supervise weekly labs and tutorials. Participate in preparing lab and tutorial materials. Demonstrate tools related to software design and modeling. Discuss in labs and tutorials selected points from lecture material, occasionally extending this material. Solve assignments in advance, and grade them quickly. Assist with keeping mark records. Have weekly office hours and answer e-mail from students. Proctor exams.

Minimum Requirements:

Successfully completed SEG3102/SEG3502 or equivalent course with a grade A. Good knowledge of the course material (software architecting, design patterns, design principles, configuration management, UML, middleware technologies including Java EE, Spring, Angular). Good knowledge and practical experience with software modeling and development tools such as Rational Software Architect, Eclipse, Intellij Idea.

Please note that the teaching method will be delivered: in person.
