Job description

Innovation Strategy Lead

Develops innovation strategies, processes, and best practices.

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects.

Supports and ensures business objectives being met.

Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design.

Leads the work of other small group of 3 to 4 engineers for assigned Engineering projects - Leads and participates in end to end service implementations, data feeds ingestion, and orchestration.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 6 years' experience building scalable applications
  • 2 years of experience with building scalable, high performing and robust Java applications
  • Experience developing with Spring framework
  • Experience with no-sql technologies like Cassandra
  • Experience with Stream processing using Kafka
  • Experience developing with web/app containers such as Apache/Tomcat
  • Experience in developing jobs using Spark
  • Experience developing using relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL

A developer's day-to-day responsibilities include adhering to the Sprint cycle, actively participating in feature development, collaborating with fellow developers both within and outside the team, and meticulously crafting unit tests and load tests to ensure the creation of high-performing code.

This person will need to come into the office two days a week Tuesday and Thursday. A VendorSAFE background check completed is required for candidates who will be working in Bentonville, AR, Reston, VA or some Texas locations.
