To thrive as a Freelance Java Programming Intern, you need a solid understanding of Java fundamentals, basic object-oriented programming concepts, and preferably coursework or experience in computer science. Familiarity with development tools like IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse, version control systems like Git, and exposure to frameworks such as Spring or Maven is valuable.
