Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Java Engineer with 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, cloud technologies, and modern DevOps practices. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to build high-performance, reliable, and cloud-native applications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs and develop microservices-based applications.
  • Develop scalable, secure, and high-performing applications following best engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers using React.js and integrate backend services.
  • Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
  • Implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and participate in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and support system reliability.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to system design and architecture discussions.
Required Skills
  • 4+ years of experience in Java application development.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA, Hibernate, REST APIs, and Microservices.
  • Experience with React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Apache Kafka.
  • Experience deploying applications on AWS and working with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, and Linux.
  • Understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, distributed systems, design patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Node.js, Azure, Elasticsearch, or Socket.IO is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and enterprise software development practices.
