Field Inspector – Potomac Interceptor Program
Location

  • Project Sites throughout the Potomac Interceptor Program
  • Full-time field assignment
Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of construction inspection experience
  • Experience with sewer rehabilitation, utilities, civil infrastructure, or heavy construction preferred
Work Schedule

  • 5 days per week in the field
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily field inspections of sewer rehabilitation construction activities.
  • Verify contractor compliance with project plans, specifications, permits, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain daily inspection reports and project documentation.
  • Monitor construction quality, materials, workmanship, and progress.
  • Coordinate with resident engineers, contractors, and DC Water representatives.
  • Document deficiencies and track corrective actions.
  • Assist with quantity verification and progress reporting.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and project closeout activities.
Availability

  • Immediate or within 1–3 months
Compensation

  • Up to $67/hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Preferred Qualifications (All Positions)
Candidates with experience in one or more of the following are highly desirable:
  • Sewer rehabilitation
  • Large-diameter interceptors
  • Wastewater collection systems
  • Water and wastewater infrastructure
  • Trenchless technologies (CIPP, sliplining, pipe bursting, etc.)
  • CMAR or Design-Bid-Build project delivery
  • Construction management and inspection
  • Utility coordination
  • Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
  • Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or GIS
  • OSHA safety training (Field Inspector preferred)
