Job description

Duininck Golf is a nationally recognized leader in golf course construction, specializing in renovations, restorations, re-models and new course development. Our mission is to build excellence guided by one standard: "Building the Best Golf.".

This is a TEMP position with possibility of conversion.

  • Competitive pay range of $18 to $20 per hour, based on experience
  • 30-60 day work period - could be extended if work is available
  • Must pass drug test and background check.
  • Must have own transportation.

This position with Duininck Golf offers the opportunity to work outdoors to support the shaping, building and finishing of golf course features. No equipment operation is required - just a strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a crew to bring high-quality golf course designs to life.

Job Duties:

  • Perform manual labor such as raking, shoveling, grading, trenching, and backfilling.
  • Install turf, sod, seed, and erosion control materials as needed.
  • Assist with drainage, irrigation prep, bunker shaping, and other fine-detail tasks.
  • Load and unload tools, materials, and supplies at the job site.
  • Follow directions from supervisors and assist skilled trades or equipment operators as needed; communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and storing materials properly.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and always wear appropriate PPE.
  • Demonstrate pride in the work and be fully committed to the success of the project and team.

Work Environment:

  • Regularly be able to move around a construction site.
  • Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch and sit.
  • At times effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to travel for extended periods of time across the United States.
  • Typical work week is Monday - Saturday.

  • Prior experience in landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work outside in varied weather conditions (e.g., hot and cold temperatures, rain, mud, dust, noise, sun, thick underbrush).
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
