Familiarity with tools like Spring Boot, REST APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), version control systems (e.g., Git), and cloud platforms is typically required. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and self-motivation set top freelancers apart by enabling them to manage projects independently and collaborate with clients. Balancing diverse client expectations, aligning project timelines, and handling unexpected technical issues require strong organizational skills and proactive communication. Many freelancers use project management tools and set clear milestones with clients to stay on track. Additionally, it's important to regularly update clients on progress and clarify requirements early to prevent scope creep and last-minute changes.
