FEG is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who enjoys building practical, business-facing applications that make work easier, faster, and more reliable. This is a hands-on application engineering role focused on designing, developing, modernizing, and supporting web applications, APIs, integrations, and data-driven tools that support investment research, client service, reporting, and firm operations.
The ideal candidate is strongest on the application side of engineering: someone who can take business needs, translate them into thoughtful technical solutions, and deliver clean, maintainable software using modern Microsoft technologies, including .NET, C#, Angular, SQL Server, Azure, APIs, and CI/CD practices.

What Youโ€™ll Do / Position Responsibilities
Application Engineering amp; Modernization
  • Design, build, test, and enhance business-facing web applications that support research, reporting, client service, and internal operations.
  • Develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, with attention to usability, accessibility, and performance.
  • Build reliable application services, APIs, and integrations using .NET, C#, secure data access practices, and practical application architecture.
  • Modernize legacy applications and manual workflows by reducing technical debt, improving maintainability, and aligning solutions with approved target architecture and business priorities.
  • Create and maintain SQL Server objects, queries, and data models that support application functionality, integrations, reporting, and data quality.
Application Delivery, Azure amp; Production Support
  • Deploy and support applications in Microsoft Azure, using cloud services that improve reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, source control practices, automated testing, release management, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
  • Troubleshoot application issues across the user interface, API, database, integration, and deployment layers.
  • Partner with infrastructure and IT teammates to support reliable application delivery.
Quality, Security amp; Maintainability
  • Build software that is secure, testable, maintainable, and practical for a growing business environment.
  • Apply secure development practices, including input validation, appropriate access controls, secrets management, and secure authentication and authorization.
  • Write automated tests and participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation.
  • Improve performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability through thoughtful architecture, refactoring, and practical documentation.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders, end users, IT teammates, vendors, and engineering partners to understand needs and deliver useful application capabilities.

    • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
    • 5โ€“8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong ownership of application development and delivery.
    • Strong experience building applications with C#, .NET, REST APIs, SQL Server, and modern frontend technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
    • Hands-on experience designing, enhancing, deploying, and supporting business applications in Microsoft Azure.
    • Ability to work across the full application stack, including user interface, API/service layer, database, integrations, testing, deployment, and production support.
    • Experience with CI/CD, source control, automated testing, release practices, troubleshooting, and application monitoring.
    • Practical understanding of secure development practices, identity, authentication, authorization, secrets management, and secure data handling.
    • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools preferred.
    • Financial services, investment advisory, reporting, data, or workflow automation experience preferred.
