Full Stack Engineer (React, Python, FAST API)

CGI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Engineer (React, Python, FAST API) for an enterprise AI-powered metadata management platform. This is a hands-on development role requiring someone who can actively build and deliver features across the full stack. The candidate will contribute to scalable solutions, write clean production-ready code, and collaborate effectively with product, data, and AI teams.

Design and operate scalable backend systems with asynchronous processing, strong data integrity, observability, performance optimization, and safe deployment practices in production environments. This position can be performed from any Client site: Bloomfield, CT, Raleigh, NC, Dallas, TX, Austin, TX, or Lafayette, LA in a Hybrid working Model.

Your future duties and responsibilities include providing professional expertise on Application Development assignments and projects within the MetagenAI platform. You will contribute to the design and development of moderately complex systems and subsystems, utilizing a solid understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Collaborate with business unit and IT teams across all phases of application programming and development processes across diverse platforms and computing environments.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role include at least 8+ years of overall software development experience required and must have skills in backend systems design, hands-on development, frontend development, database management, cloud & DevOps, and architecture. Good to have experience in AI/ML integration, specialized databases, and key responsibilities include hands-on development, collaboration, and education.

Skills include LangChain, OpenAI, and RESTful (Rest-APIs).
