What does a freelance frontend JavaScript developer do?

A Freelance Frontend JavaScript Developer creates and maintains the parts of websites and web applications that users interact with, using JavaScript along with HTML and CSS. They typically work independently, taking on projects for various clients rather than being employed by a single company. Their responsibilities include building responsive user interfaces, optimizing website performance, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility. Freelancers also communicate directly with clients to meet specific project requirements and deadlines.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a freelance frontend JavaScript developer?

To thrive as a Freelance Frontend Javascript Developer, you need strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and a solid understanding of popular frameworks like React or Vue, typically demonstrated through a robust portfolio.
