Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team and lead our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing campaigns, working on a team and driving results.


The Marketing Department is responsible for elevating the brand presence of Menlo and K12itc, driving leads for Albert, and promoting our full range of products and services to support the company’s growth goals. The team manages the entire marketing lifecycle from research and strategy to content creation, campaign execution, and performance measurement. Our work includes digital marketing, social media, ads, email campaigns, website management, SEO, podcast production, market research, event support, and branding alignment. By collaborating across departments, we ensure consistent messaging and maximum impact on our technology solutions and the schools we serve.


The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote K12itc’s products and services, including Albert and related solutions. This role oversees all aspects of marketing campaigns from budgeting and planning to execution and performance measurements while ensuring alignment with the company’s growth goals. The Marketing Manager will manage digital marketing, social media, ads, email campaigns, website content, SEO, podcast production, events, market research, and branding consistency.

Requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Digital Media Execution: Directly build, launch, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn, managing daily ad spend and ROI. Perform basic SEO tasks, such as keyword research, on-page optimization, meta descriptions, and updating website content for search visibility
  • Advanced Search Optimization: Implement SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) strategies to maximize brand visibility across traditional search engines and AI discovery platforms. Current tools include Semrush and HubSpot Marketing tools.
  • Marketing Automation & Web Analytics: Manage the company’s MarTech stack (HubSpot Marketing, Lead Forensics, etc.), maintaining and building automated email nurture workflows and refining event/conversion tracking.
  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate closely with the sales team to produce and maintain high-impact sales enablement tools, case studies, and creative assets for conferences/events.
  • Partner, Vendor & Freelancer Oversight: Manage external contractors, agencies, or freelancers (e.g., graphic designers, video editors) to supplement internal bandwidth as needed. Oversee Podcast planning and execution as marketing strategy. Work with partners and associations on marketing campaigns, assets and events.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Work with leadership to ensure branding strategy is aligned and implemented across the organization. Report on marketing results to senior management. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing management role
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices
  • Experience with a variety of marketing tools and technologies - Ideally: HubSpot campaigns, Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, WordPress, Semrush
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think strategically and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
