Job description

The Early Childhood Daytime Gymnastics Instructor is responsible for providing introductory gymnastics and movement instruction.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and monitor small groups of participants in gymnastics activities. Spot participants while they are performing gymnastics.
  • Demonstrate fundamental gymnastics skills.
  • Provide a safe and positive environment for all participants.
  • Inspect and secure gymnastics equipment.
  • Ability to address complaints and resolve concerns.
  • Ability to relate sensitively to participants.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Minimum six 6 months of experience in early childhood or childcare, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, First Aid, CPR, and AED certification within two (2) months of hire.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and/or move objects weighing ≤ 30 lbs on a daily. Lifting assistance is required when lifting > 30 lbs.
