This Financial Analyst, Corporate is a key individual contributor on the Corporate Finance team tasked with delivering actionable insights that drive informed decision-making and support achievement of financial commitments. The position develops advanced analytics and financial models, leads and supports FP&A productivity initiatives, and proactively provides risk and opportunity assessments to help stakeholders anticipate and navigate business challenges. Responsibilities include supporting key planning cycles such as forecasts and annual plans, preparing analyses and presentations for senior leadership, and contributing to financial systems implementations and enhancements. The role also acts as a critical liaison across business areas and global teams, fostering cross-functional collaboration, aligning on best practices, and leveraging KPI-driven insights to enable continuous improvement.

As our Financial Analyst, Corporate, you'll support HID's success by: 

  • Partnering with selected Corporate Functional teams as a key finance business partner.
  • Leading and supporting process productivity initiatives for FP&A team, Business Areas, functions or key clients.
  • Providing financial insight to teams in assessing risk and opportunities to achieve its financial commitments. 
  • Proactively establishing insightful analytics, reporting, and developing the right operational processes that enable the key clients and groups to "see around corners" and support cross functional alignment.
  • Developing various ad-hoc modeling to support strategic analysis.
  • Participating proactively in a rotational program supporting key reporting cycles and processes.
  • Supporting key financial planning cycles including Quarterly Forecasts and Annual Plan.
  • Supporting preparation of financial analyses and presentations for senior leadership, including AA Divisional Board, SLT, and GMM reviews.
  • Supporting financial systems implementations and migrations, including OneStream and Adaptive, as well as future system enhancements.
  • Acting as the liaison between the BAs and other HID and ASSA teams.
  • Collaborating across multifunctional teams to create an environment that strives for prioritization, focus and global consistency of best practices identified both internally and externally.
  • Understanding, operating and leveraging resources in a matrix organizational structure.
  • Developing and delivering effective presentations to a small audience.

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field and 2-3 years relevant work experience, or equivalent OR
  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field and 1-2 years relevant work experience, or equivalent
  • Passionate change agent with the ability to read the landscape to counsel, establish or lead a prioritized action plan.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles.
  • Advanced-level Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Able to interpret KPI's and/or architect analyses to drive change.
  • Proven track record of setting priorities and delivering on commitments.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable information and lead change
  • Structured mindset, approach, and vision, but with the ability to "pivot" pending the situation and/or challenge.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a structured understanding of situation/request, get stakeholder buy in and implement a team rhythm for the development of solution(s)
  • Ability to operate, make recommendations and/or decisions in uncertain environments and with gaps of information.
  • Effective at influencing key individuals at multiple levels.
  • Naturally curious with ability to think critically and able to simplify and prioritize complex issues.
  • Energetic and analytical with a positive approach to problem solving.
  • Adaptive, proactive communicator and team unifier.
  • Demonstrated ability to set and communicate clear expectations to peers and business partners.
  • When given a task with unclear requirements demonstrates that all assumptions are vetted before work starts to reduce the need for re-work.
