Job description

We are looking for Field Research Assistant for our client in Hermiston, OR

Job Title: Field Research Assistant

Job Location: Hermiston, OR

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 1+ months contract.
  • Driving required for the assignment; occasional driving.
  • Special equipment required: Shoes that provide ankle support.
  • Must be able to work extended hours when needed and be available on weekends during the month of July.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for corn detasseling activities.
  • Support seed production activities such as field scouting, data collection, and roguing fields.
  • Coordinate closely with the Agronomy Supervisor and Research Specialist to support day-to-day field activities.
  • Understand and follow both written and oral instructions.

Nice to Have:

  • Excellent driving record.
  • Strong focus on safety and good attention to detail.
