Branch Manager – Staffing Industry

Location: Ontario, CA
Salary: $70,000–$75,000 per year

Position Overview

Epic Personnel Partners is seeking a highly organized and experienced Branch Manager to oversee our Ontario, CA branch. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for branch operations, recruiting performance, client service, payroll administration, employee records, and compliance.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing administrative responsibilities while leading a fast-paced staffing team.


Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee daily branch operations and staff performance
  • Lead, train, and support recruiters and branch employees
  • Manage job orders, candidate pipelines, placements, and employee retention
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure employee records and branch documentation are accurate and complete
  • Enter, track, and maintain paid sick leave information
  • Complete accurate and timely entries in MERITS and other company systems
  • Review timekeeping records and assist with weekly payroll processing
  • Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly
  • Ensure employee files, onboarding documents, and payroll records remain organized and up to date
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable employment requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Respond to client and employee concerns professionally and promptly
  • Monitor branch expenses, productivity, and profitability
  • Prepare branch reports and communicate updates to senior leadership
  • Identify opportunities for business development and branch growth

Qualifications

  • Previous branch management or staffing leadership experience required
  • Staffing industry experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with payroll, timekeeping, paid sick leave, audits, and employee recordkeeping
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and responsibilities
  • Experience leading and developing a recruiting or staffing team
  • Strong client service and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience supporting light industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics clients preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a hands-on leader who can keep the branch organized, ensure payroll and employee information are entered accurately, maintain compliance, and hold the team accountable. The successful candidate must be proactive, dependable, and able to identify and correct issues before they affect employees or clients.

Compensation


$70,000–$75,000 per year, based on experience.
