As the organization continues to expand its Energy Division, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex energy and infrastructure projects while serving as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.

This is an excellent opportunity for a project management leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building lasting client relationships, and has a proven track record delivering complex construction and energy performance projects.

Why This Opportunity

  • Join one of the nation's leading engineering and energy services organizations.
  • Manage projects from preconstruction through final completion.
  • Work alongside highly respected engineering, construction, and operations professionals.
  • Build long-term client partnerships while driving successful project outcomes.

Overview

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful execution of energy performance and infrastructure projects from project kickoff through closeout. This role oversees project planning, financial performance, scheduling, contract administration, risk management, and client communication while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with engineering, estimating, procurement, construction, and field teams, this individual plays a critical leadership role in coordinating multidisciplinary teams while maintaining strong client relationships and driving successful project delivery.

This position is ideal for an experienced ESCO, MEP, or design-build construction professional seeking to lead impactful projects within a collaborative, high-performance environment.

What You'll Lead

  • Lead the successful execution of Energy Performance Contracting and infrastructure projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
  • Maintain overall responsibility for project scope, schedule, budget, profitability, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project execution.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, cash flow, change orders, invoicing, and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate engineering, estimating, procurement, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead project meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project documentation, contract administration, and project controls.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Promote a collaborative, solutions-focused culture that drives operational excellence and successful project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
  • 5+ years of project management experience within Energy Performance Contracting (ESCO), MEP construction, commercial construction, or energy infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary construction project teams.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, controls, lighting, water systems, power generation, and integrated building systems.
  • Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, scheduling, financial reporting, and project profitability.
  • Knowledge of commercial construction processes, contract administration, permitting, and project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, project documentation, procurement, and change orders.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and project management software.

Location

  • Hybrid position based in the Greater Baltimore Area.
  • Occasional travel to project sites and client meetings will be required.
