Battery R&D Intern

We are seeking a Battery R&D Intern to support our engineering team in developing battery prototypes. This internship is offered through the MassCEC Clean Energy Program. We prioritize candidates meeting MassCEC eligibility, but encourage all exceptional applicants to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and processing of chemicals, including waste disposal
  • Support the senior engineers with cell and electrolyte preparation
  • Support cell assembly and conduct electrochemical experiments
  • Data collection, storing, consolidation, and visualization
  • Work in compliance with safety regulations
  • Support the engineering team in a variety of tasks

Required Technical Qualification

  • Background in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science or related subject
  • Hands-on experience in wet labs and working with hazardous chemicals
  • Familiar with chemical safety procedures
