We are currently recruiting Freelance EU Spanish <> English Interpreters for an on\-site assignment in Dearborn, Michigan, supporting a customer experience event for a global automotive client.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>


<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Subject Matter: Customer experience discussions (non\-technical)<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

According to the client, the event will include 6 different discussion stations, each with 4 to 6 dealership representatives. Small groups of executives will rotate between stations to discuss pre\-defined topics in an informal and conversational setting. Interpreters will support communication during these exchanges.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

The assignment may also lead to future opportunities with additional virtual and\/or on\-site interpretation projects.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Key Responsibilities - in this role you will:<\/span>

\n Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between EU Spanish and English.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
\n Facilitate smooth communication between executives and dealership representatives during customer experience discussions.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
\n Maintain confidentiality and professionalism throughout the assignment.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
\n Adapt quickly to changing conversational dynamics and multiple speakers.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
\n Ensure clear and culturally appropriate communication in both languages.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
\n Coordinate effectively with the STAR7 project management team and other interpreters on\-site.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>\n

    \n Native or near\-native proficiency in EU Spanish and English.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>

    \n Proven experience in consecutive interpretation, preferably in corporate or business environments.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
    \n Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
    \n Ability to manage informal, fast\-paced group conversations professionally.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
    \n Excellent listening, memory retention, and note\-taking skills.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
    \n Professional demeanor and reliability.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
    \n Previous experience in automotive, customer experience, or corporate events is a plus.<\/span>

    The client strongly prefers local interpreters based in the metro Detroit area, as travel and accommodation costs may not be approved.<\/span>
