Job Title: Marketing and Communications Lead

FLSA Status: Exempt

Department: Marketing

Reports to: Director of Global Marketing

GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

The role oversees the organization’s communications plan and drives global marketing operations. It develops and implements internal and external strategies to ensure consistent messaging that promotes the corporate identity in line with our vision, mission, and values.

The role coordinates marketing operations worldwide, aligning campaigns, processes, and resources with regional teams. It engages with global team members to represent employees and ensure marketing needs are met efficiently.

The Lead also coaches and partners on communication planning for change initiatives, acting as a central connector for communications and marketing operations to support organizational alignment and execution.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Identifies and leverages opportunities to promote the organization through internal communications.
  • Leads and maintains customer-focused segmentation strategies to identify key markets and customers.
  • Establishes user and engagement metrics.
  • Implement tactics supporting communication strategies for organizational and business change initiatives.
  • Supports policies and procedures for communications that reflect corporate identity and promote mission, vision, and values
  • Drafts and presents design proposals and special communications projects to management.
  • Seeks new methods to boost internal awareness of key events, launches, programs, and community initiatives.
  • Develops and manages an integrated communications calendar.
  • Collaborates with Marketing to create innovative content and tools (videos, podcasts, blogs, etc.).
  • Partners with Executives to improve internal communications, morale, and culture.
  • Contributes to Global Access (intranet) content, assists stakeholders, manages freelance writers, and drafts content.
  • Curates and documents corporate events for sharing across digital and internal platforms
  • Manages social media platforms and provides global guidelines to maintain brand standards.

Technical and Functional Skills

  • Manages Loram’s intranet to support effective global communications
  • Prepares and delivers internal presentations
  • Defines value propositions stories for product launches
  • Monitor campaign workflows
  • Writes and edits digital media content
  • Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation; supports employee training on internal processes.
  • Research, writes and implements intranet news, bulletins and email announcements.
  • Writing, editing and proofing communications targeted for field, office and subsidiary teams
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field

Experience: 5+ years of professional experience; preferably in communications and/ or marketing operations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications, including MS Teams, and MS Excel (intermediate level of Excel)
  • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, with emphasis on customer focus
  • Ability to create and translate editorial content into a visually appealing finished product, with graphic and multimedia components as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to create compelling messaging for a variety of audiences inclusive of value proposition stories.
  • Ability to work independently, problem solve, and make recommendations for process improvements and drive them to completion
  • Strong attention to detail and task oriented
  • High level of accuracy and integrity; ability to handle confidential information with discretion

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Master’s degree

Experience: 7-10 Years of communications and/or marketing experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Video shooting and/or editing capabilities
  • Graphic Design skills (provide samples if so)
  • Writing Marketing scripts for publications

Starting pay for the position is between $75,450 - $113,250
