The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of commercial electrical systems, safety codes, and thrive in a dynamic, production-oriented environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Blueprint Comprehension: Accurately read and interpret complex electrical blueprints, schematics, and design documents for commercial applications.
  • System Management: Install and connect power distribution panels, lighting systems, branch circuits, motor controls, and low-voltage systems (e.g., data, communication, security) as required for commercial use.
  • Cross-Trade Coordination: Collaborate effectively with structural engineers, project managers, plumbing, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into precast modules and their final assembly.
  • Code Compliance: Ensure all electrical work strictly adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and industry best practices.
  • Testing & Commissioning: Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems to guarantee functionality, safety, and performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect installed electrical work, identify any deviations or deficiencies, and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of materials utilized, work performed, and inspection results.
  • Safety Protocols: Uphold and enforce all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Apprentice Supervision: Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentice electricians and other support personnel.
  • Manufacturing Liaison: Work closely with the quality control department during module fabrication to ensure electrical components are correctly installed, protected, and ready for final assembly.
Required Qualifications:
  • Licensure: Possess a valid and current Journeyman Electrician license or Master Electrician license (state-issued; Master Electrician strongly preferred).
  • Commercial Experience: A minimum of 5 years of dedicated commercial electrical experience is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with commercial electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting controls, fire alarm systems, and low-voltage applications.
  • Blueprint Skills: Proven ability to read and understand commercial electrical construction blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Code Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant local electrical codes.
  • Materials Experience: Familiarity and proficiency working with various electrical materials such as conduit, wire, breakers, panels, and fixtures common in commercial settings.
