Job Title: 3D Printer Technician
Location: Bastrop,TX
Schedule: Full-Time | 6:30a.m.-5:00p.m. Mon- Thurs. with some occasional work needed Friday
Salary Range: $45,000–$65,000/year (DOE)

We're looking for a 3D Printer Technician to join our Creation Department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, sculpture, and design.
What You’ll Do
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot state-of-the-art 3D printers and scanners
  • Prepare digital models and slicing files using industry-standard software
  • Sand, assemble, and finish printed parts with precision and care
  • Perform routine maintenance and ensure print quality standards are met
  • Digitally nest 3D files for optimized print layouts
  • Collaborate across departments to bring creative projects to life
  • Engage in a wide range of tasks—from Wacom tablet design work to hands-on power tool use
Who You Are
  • Creative, artistic, and passionate about how technology enhances art
  • Detail-oriented and capable of balancing digital and hands-on workflows
  • Comfortable with fast-paced production timelines
  • A self-motivated problem-solver who takes pride in craftsmanship
Software Skills:
  • ZBrush, Blender, Materialise Magics, Vectric Aspire
  • Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Microsoft Office
  • 3D slicing software & 3D scanning tools
Bonus Points For:
  • Background or education in sculpture, mold-making, or bronze casting
  • Experience with traditional and digital art methods
  • Familiarity with studio or fabrication environments
Job Requirements
  • Must pass Pulmonary Function Test, background check, and drug screening
  • Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Strong communication and ability to follow instructions
  • Reliable transportation and adherence to safety protocols
  • Capable of lifting, sanding, and working in environments with dust or fumes (within OSHA limits)
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with quality results
  • Vision abilities including depth perception, color recognition, and keen attention to detail
