1099 Cable Field Technician/Installer - Independent Contractor (NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY + MORE BENEFITS)

IMPORTANT: Have a Pick-Up, Truck, Minivan, SUV, or Van and be Capable of carrying a 6ft A-Frame ladder & a 28ft extension ladder

$1,000.00 to $1,600.00 per Week.

No experience Necessary jobs with CAT-5, Cable Installer for residential, commercial, or new construction work. Fiber Optic, no experience necessary. As a Cable Technician Contractor, you should have the knowledge and training to install cable TV, internet, and phone services properly. Jobs with signal strength meters, cable boxes, internet modems, IP phone systems, and other components of a telecommunications system. Basic broadband installation.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair cabling systems for data and telecommunications.
  • Proper use of all hand tools, including signal meter.
  • Ability to do basic cable tasks.
  • Be able to carry an extension ladder, work at heights exceeding 30ft.
  • Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to test and troubleshoot cable connections.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
  • Configure and install routers and other networking equipment.
  • Conduct field service calls to resolve customer issues related to network connectivity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing installations.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding installation processes and timelines.

Requirements

  • Have a Valid Driver's License, Clean driving record
  • Be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Test ( NO FELONIES)
  • Have a Pick-Up, Truck, or Minivan, SUV, or Van ****** (Important: You need this)
  • Flexibility to work some weekends and holidays
