Position Overview:

As part of the talented Freedom Boat Club team (the nation's oldest and largest private member boat club), you will be working withateam of Dock Staffonourvariedfleet of boats, as a key roleofaFleetioMaintenance Technician! We are looking for amechanically inclinedindividual that willperform light maintenance on our vessels and diligentlyutilizeourFleetiofleetmanagement software to log the work completed.This individual should also be able todemonstratebasic customer service skills, as the role will interact on a regular basis with our members.

Essential Functions:

  • Troubleshoot and perform light maintenance on vessels

  • Own the process of entering and updating theFleetiosoftware

  • Follow all company policies and procedures

  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards

  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs

  • Speak with others using clear and professional language

  • Make and answer telephone calls usingappropriate etiquette

  • Support team to reach common goals

  • Comply withquality assurance expectations and standards

  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors

Required Qualifications:

  • Vision adequate to read / manipulate handheld computer tablets

  • Highly effective communication skills and friendly customer service

  • Must be a self-starter and capable of working unsupervised

  • Maintain a clean work area

  • Adhere to all safety policies

  • Maintain a cooperative, team attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees

PreferredQualifications:

  • Fleet maintenance background

  • Boating experience in and around boats

  • Proven experience using applications

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability tomaintaina calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity

Working Conditions:

  • Work outdoors and in various weather conditions for an extendedperiod of time

  • Work in a marina setting on docks that may be fixed or floating

  • Work near and on the water

  • Safely move on, off and in vessels during various tide and weather conditions

  • Work outside in the state's elements and stand for an extendedperiod of time

  • Local travelrequired

The anticipated pay for this position is $16.00, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
