Job Title: Payroll Coordinator
General Information:
500 employees, weekly payroll and reports.
This is a very tedious and high volume job requiring great attention to detail and focus.
Previous Payroll experience is required.
Vista software
This is an on-site position. No Remote, No Hybrid.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurate processing and recording of the Company’s payroll.
- Maintain the close security of company payroll records and information.
- Maintain the confidentiality of company payroll records and information.
- Support and enforce all company policies and procedures that relate to the position’s area of authority.
- Ensure that all payroll and related checks are processed in a timely and error free manner consistent with the company policies.
- All the payroll records are kept neat, readable and error free.
- All reports required of the payroll department are done in a timely manner.
- The company payroll records are maintained in full compliance with all tax and government regulations.
- Enforce all company policy in the areas of the Payroll Associate’s responsibilities.
Desired experience/skills:
- High School diploma with courses in Payroll.
- Two to five years’ experience in Payroll.
- Ability to work independently and to be able to work well with others in a professional fast paced environment.
- Good comprehension of payroll and spreadsheet software.
- Excellent reading, writing and verbal skills.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear. Often required to walk; use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
The work is performed primarily in a typical office setting.
